In it’s 6th year, an evening of vocal exploration through exercises and songs in a friendly and supportive group. We hold two concerts a year plus perform locally at community events during the summer months and at Christmas. So far have raised over £3,000 for charities through concerts and Sing for Water.

Would you like to join a choir but don’t know where to start? Feel you have no control over your singing voice but want to improve?
It’s never too late to learn so come along and have a go!
Southsea Community Choir invites you to join them! Choir leader Janet Ayers is running taster workshops throughout the year JUST FOR MEN!
These workshops are open to all men who like to sing, even if you’re not sure of your voice. No previous experience necessary! You’ll meet the other guys who sing with the group and get an idea of what it’s like to be part of a community choir.

SEASONAL SING on a SUNDAY at the SUSTAINABILITY CENTRE
Open to all who want to sing! Learn songs from around the globe that celebrate the seasons & nature, drawing on music from many different traditions. No need to read music! The workshop is based in the green room next door to the cafe, and at various points during the afternoon we will venture out into the surrounding area to sing the songs we’ve learned in the open air!
Bring water to drink, notebook and/or mp3 recorder, layers of clothes plus sturdy footwear.
