A natural voice choir open to all who want to find their voice and sing. All welcome from the experienced singer to the first-timer
No previous experience necessary, just the willingness to throw yourself in and get involved. Singing in a community choir can change your life! We sing for fun and for performance, with annual Christmas and Spring concerts raising money for local charities, plus Sing for Water Portsmouth every summer and busking performances for local events and festivals. Highlights include Wickham festival (see photo).
Be prepared to have fun and learn songs from all over the world in different languages. in harmony all unaccompanied!
There are warm ups and exercises using movement to get your breathing and singing better. All songs are taught by ear so no need to read music or read any words.
Singing in a community choir can be challenging at times but the benefits are huge, bringing meaning and purpose to our lives and greatly improving our physical and mental health & wellbeing.
